Luminous Obscurity is a small family of makers based in Maine, offering a wide variety of goods ranging from prints and art to jewelry and tabletop gaming accessories. Our inspiration comes from the things we enjoy and that resonates with us. It’s the little imperfections in life that make us all unique, and the same goes for our works. All the items are handmade or designed by one of the family and no two are the same.

There came a point in my life where I simply could not punch a clock any longer. I wanted to do something creative and interesting. That is why I started Luminous Obscurity. It has since evolved into a collective of my family with each one of us contributing in some way.
Our inspiration comes from the things we enjoy and that resonates with us. We love creating complete scenes in light and shadow as well as creating whimsical pieces with bright, vibrant colors. The work will always be made by hand. It’s the little imperfections in life that make us all unique, and the same goes for our works. Any item purchased from us is guaranteed to be made when you order it rather than manufactured. You will not find anything typical with Luminous Obscurity.
