Rocker Charlie Farren Opens Live Rock Show in Boxborough MA, July 2, 2022
Saturday July 2nd, 8:00 – 10:00 pm – Opening for Sal Baglio of The Stompers.
Farren teamed up with Aerosmith lead guitarist Joe Perry in the early 80’s to release an acclaimed album on Columbia Records as the lead singer of The Joe Perry Project. In addition to having penned the Billboard charting classics “Listen To The Rock” and “East Coast, West Coast”, Farren co-wrote four songs with Perry, including “I’ve Got The Rock ‘N’ Rolls Again”. The Joe Perry Project sold out theaters across the country and toured arenas & stadiums around the world, with such legends as Ozzy Osbourne, Rush, Heart, ZZ Top, and Alice Cooper.
In the mid 80’s, he formed Farrenheit, a trio that released a self-titled debut album on Warner Brothers, produced by Keith Olsen. Farrenheit established itself as one of the era’s premier rock acts with the singles “Fool in Love”, “Bad Habit”, & “Lost in Loveland”. In addition to the coveted opening slot on the 75+ date BOSTON ‘Third Stage Tour’, which sold out from coast to coast, Farrenheit perform at the Cotton Bowl to an 85,000 person sold out crowd.
Recently, Charlie has toured with Three Dog Night, REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, and many others as ‘America’s Special Guest’. As part of his latest project, Charlie Farren: GUITAR & VOICE, he has been releasing compelling new original music on a monthly basis.
He remains one of America’s most original and captivating musicians.
