Breakfast With The Beatles, Unseen Footage and Newly Discovered Music!

Get ready for Breakfast With The Beatles, The Magical History Tour! It is guaranteed to be a great time for all with two hours of Fab Four stories, unseen footage, and newly discovered music.

BEATLES MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR with CHACHI LOPRETE & ERIK TAROSOne hour programs on Saturday April 9th at 1:00 pm and Sunday April 10th at 1:15 pm of film and video of the Beatles, many clips never before seen, with commentary by Beatles experts Erik Taros (assisted Ron Howard on his documentary) and Chachi Loprete (show host currently on radio WUMB). Q&A included. Times will be announced online. Chachi Loprete, host of New England’s Breakfast With The Beatles, Beatles Film Archivist Erik Taros and David Bieber of the David Bieber Archives host a multi media presentation highlighting The Beatles’ concerts at the Cincinnati Gardens in 1964 and at Suffolk Downs in Boston in 1966! The discussion will include vintage photos and films as well as audience participation!

Through the years, Cha-Chi has interviewed Paul, George and Ringo on multiple occasions as well as many other significant ‘Beatle People’ in the close knit Beatles circle George Martin, Yoko Ono, Julian Lennon, Cynthia Lennon, Patti Boyd-Harrison and Pete Best among them.

Cha-Chi’s extensive knowledge of The Beatles, both as a band and individually, and his significant collection of Beatles memorabilia is well known in the greater Boston area.

He is often regarded as Boston’s Beatles Historian and keeper of the flame. Cha-Chi frequently hosts Beatles events in and around the city. Cha-Chi also hosted and narrated five Beatles concerts at Boston’s Symphony Hall with the legendary Boston Pop’s – ‘Pops Plays The Beatles’ with Keith Lockhart and ‘The Beatles and Beyond’ with the Boston Pops with Conductor Steve Hackman.

Bringing Breakfast With The Beatles to the MusicCons Music Collectibles Extravaganza, Erik Taros has been a Beatles fanatic since being forced to watch the February 9, 1964 Ed Sullivan Show. (At that time, he preferred Bonanza.) But it was a guest on his teenage radio show, the legendary Beatles fan Joe Pope, who set him on the path of Fab Four scholarship. Over the years, Erik has assisted on various Beatles reference books, as well as a movie about America’s Lost Band (The Remains). He is also an expert in discovering and preserving ‘small gauge’ films shot of The Beatles and other classic rock bands.

Active on his native Boston’s post-punk music scene, Erik moved to London in the early ’80s, working as a graphic design productionist for BBC-TV shows like Top of the PopsSomething ElseOnly Fools and HorsesParkinson and David Bowie’s television play, BAAL. It was at a 1983 Beatles Convention in Liverpool that he met an up-and-coming writer named Richard Buskin…and the rest (eventually) was history.

This will be a special evening celebrating John, Paul, George, and Ringo on the Long and Winding Road. Beatles Historians ChaChi Loprete and Erik Taros present exclusive content created from rare, privately owned films and sound which can’t be seen on YouTube or anywhere else.

These unique vignettes take the audience through all phases of The Beatles career; from concerts and public appearances to private moments behind the scenes. Chachi & Erik emphasize a fresh approach to the stories, many of which have never been told. Even the most knowledgeable Beatles fan will be amazed at what they have never seen or heard before!
