Tim Mann is a singer-songwriter who performs on guitar and ukulele. Mann, from the Boston area, is known for his work with Greg Hawkes formally of The Cars. He is also one of the usual suspects at the popular Ukulele Noir shows organized by the infamous Craig Robertson.
Performing in Boston since the mid 90s, Tim writes songs that come from the mellow yet moody environment that has housed the likes of George Harrison, Elliott Smith and Alex Chilton.
“I picked it up eight years ago on a whim when very few were playing around on the instrument,” Mann said. “Now I sometimes have one or two new lesson requests a day, and I took over Greg’s ukulele class at Passim (School of Music) over a year ago when he got busy with the Cars. I’ve never had to cancel a class yet.”
Tim will be playing songs by The Beatles on ukulele on the Courtyard Main Stage at 11:00 – 11:45 am on Sunday April 10th
