NorthEast ComicCon & Collectibles Extravaganza, LLC, (“NECOMICCONS” or “we”) is a patented, entertainment system and method consisting of websites, services, applications, and widgets (the “NECOMICCONS Service”) to enable a consumer to purchase an autographed item from a celebrity through internet connected devices.
By purchasing Products through the NECOMICCONS Services, you are purchasing a limited, transferable, revocable license to participate in the NECOMICCONS Services. The license represented by the Product may be terminated immediately if your account is terminated for any reason, in NECOMICCONS’s sole and absolute discretion, or if NECOMICCONS discontinues providing the NECOMICCONS Services. Any sale or transfer of NECOMICCONS Product(s), except as expressly permitted by NECOMICCONS, will result in an automatic termination of such license.
AUTOGRAPHED MEMORABILIA AND PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
Guaranteed Authentic – 6 Part Process
Part of NECOMICCONS’s mission is to thwart forgery and fraud. According to the FBI, as much as 70% of the autographed memorabilia may be fraudulent. NECOMICCONS has a six part process to ensure 100% authenticity of the autograph on the items you purchase.
Every item is signed at an official NECOMICCONS event with NECOMICCONS representatives observing the process.
Each step of the process is captured with a barcode.
The process of your item being signed by the Talent is recorded on video and audio. This video is shipped to you on a custom USB flash drive, is available on-line and is in the NECOMICCONS Archive.
A custom Certificate of Authenticity including details an NECOMICCONSs of the signing is delivered with the item and flash drive.
The item (when practical), the flash drive and the CoA have matching serialized and barcoded holograms unique to your item.
The video, the complete chain of custody, NECOMICCONSs and event details are all stored in the NECOMICCONS Archive
All autographs are unconditionally guaranteed to be genuine!
Our sole business is 100% authentic autographs. We back that up with a lifetime guarantee on an autograph’s authenticity. If any autographed item we sell is ever found not to be authentic by a certified and court qualified forensic handwriting examiner, we will gladly refund the purchase price. We will promptly refund your money if you return the item, the original paperwork, the flash drive and a certified letter from the forensic handwriting examiner stating that the item purchased is not authentic. The inspection of the item must be done in person and not evaluated using the internet or scans or photos. The examiner must evaluate the autograph using standard nondestructive forensic techniques of forensic document examination which include a macroscopic evaluation with calipers, protractors, enlargements, and computer enhancements. The serialized holograms on original item, the flash drive and the Certificate of Authenticity must still be affixed for this guarantee to remain in place. It is your responsibility to pay the authenticator for his services. This guarantee is good forever.
Please note that all prices are in U.S. Currency. Shipping and handling to addresses in the United States may be included for most items. Certain large or bulky items may have a shipping surcharge. This will be noted at the time of purchase. All Foreign addresses will have shipping and handling charges calculated at time of purchase and will be added to purchase price.
ORDER PROCESSING POLICY
After you submit your order, you will receive a computer-generated notification that your order was placed. You credit card will be charged when your order is placed. If there are extra shipping, handling or other charges for your order, we will let you know the amount when the order is confirmed.
Sales taxes (if any) are calculated based on the location to which the product is being shipped and will be added to an order prior to checkout and payment.
OUR SHIPPING POLICY
Most items will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail. We may elect to ship by some other carrier and will notify you if that is the case.
International buyers note: Customs forms will contain factual information about your purchase.
-USPS Priority Insured w/ Confirmation (Domestic USA only) – Included in purchase price.
-USPS Global Priority (International) – $13.00 and up
-Certified tracking for international shipping additional $10.00 and up (total USPS Global Priority w/ Certified tracking – $23.00 and up)
OUR RETURN/REFUND POLICY
While we are certain you’ll be happy with your purchase, we understand circumstance may arise where you feel you must return an item. It is important to remember that each item is a custom order that may be personalized. NECOMICCONS is a service provider to the Talent and does not represent the Talent. Each one is irreplaceable, hence we only offer qualified returns or merchandise credits. We do not have the ability to provide exchanges because each item is made to order at the Event. In order to return an item for refund, you must contact NECOMICCONS prior to shipping item.
In most cases you may cancel your order up to two business days prior to the event and receive a full refund. For certain unusual or expense items, we may require more notice. This will be noted at the time of order.
If the Talent cancels the event you will receive a full refund or credit.
Items Missing from an Order
If you are missing an item from order you must contact us within 3 days of the delivery date. Please check the packing slip to insure the missing item is on the list of items shipped. If the autographed item is missing, we will issue a full refund or credit. If the flash drive or paperwork is missing, NECOMICCONS will ship those to you.
We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If despite our efforts your order does arrive damaged please follow these instructions for the fastest response to your situation. Take the entire order (all contents and all original packing material) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to us for processing. Do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to us. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.
Wrong Item Sent
If you receive an incorrect item from what you ordered you will need to contact us within 3 days of the delivery date. You will also need to return the item immediately. We will also refund ground shipping charges for the return of the item. We may be able to supply the originally ordered product but we are not required to do so if it is not available. We will issue a full refund or supply a merchandise credit, at your option, upon receipt and inspection of the return. The return along with the paperwork and flash drive must be received in the original condition.
Any other reason
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions within three (3) days (by email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), including the original Certificate of Authenticity and flash drive, each with the holograms still affixed, is returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you excluding any shipping/insurance costs, if any, for which you were responsible we will issue a refund for your item. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within fourteen (14) days of the date of RMA approval.
Uncustomized items: 50% restocking fee (Neither custom greeting nor custom inscription)
Customized items: 75% restocking fee (Custom greeting and/or custom inscription)
Once delivered, all products are considered the purchaser’s property until they arrive back to us in satisfactory condition and meet all returns policy requirements. We suggest for your protection that you insure all merchandise being returned for the purchase value and that you use a shipping method that provides package tracking.
Resale of Item
NECOMICCONS offers the ability to resell items, with transferable ownership only from authorized resellers. Once an item is resold in any way, the return policy is void and NECOMICCONS will not accept any return from a third party owner of the item.
NECOMICCONS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
NECOMICCONS has the absolute right to manage, regulate, control, modify and/or eliminate Products as it sees fit in its sole discretion, and NECOMICCONS shall have no liability to you or anyone for the exercise of such rights.
We may change this Terms of Sale, in whole or in part. Any such changes will affect previously acquired terms unless otherwise expressly stated. Please check this page periodically for changes as notice of all changes to this Terms of Sale shall be provided by posting such changes on the NECOMICCONS Web site. Additionally, NECOMICCONS may attempt to notify you when material changes are made to this Terms of Sale. Your continued use of the NECOMICCONS Service after the posting of changes constitutes your binding acceptance of any changes.
